Meet the family

Grange Farm prides itself on being the top sporting ground in the county. Set in 80 acres of Leicestershire countryside in Newtown Unthank, Leicestershire. The family team of Brian, Diane, Adam and Kate have worked hard to gain the grounds reputation as a warm and friendly place to come and shoot clays and our aim is to keep this reputation.

Grange Farm Sporting Clays first held a charity shoot back in the late 1980’s and after having great success holding these events moved on to holding regular 50 bird English Sporting competitions soon after.

In 1994 Grange Farm Sporting Clays became registered to the CPSA and started holding the now well known 100 bird Registered English Sporting competitions on the second and fourth Sunday’s of each month.

With over 40 automatic clay traps to choose from, Adam and Brian make the most of the natural topography of the ground by setting targets along the small brook that runs through the middle of the ground and the fishing lake. When setting the course we try to balance the target difficulty so it can be enjoyed by shooters of all abilities, from complete beginners through to world champions.

We have a warm and friendly clubhouse on site where you can get hot and cold drinks and a range of different food options. These include a full English breakfast, bacon and sausage cobs and a slice of Diane’s countrywide famous cake – Just make sure you get the cake early!

We can also cater for corporate team building days, stag and hen parties or if you just fancy having a go, then give us a call to discuss your requirements.
